Karigane Hojicha 30g

This is a roasted green tea made mainly from high-quality tea stems (karigane / bou) from Kyoto. The stems naturally have a gentle sweetness and a nice aroma. Roasting brings out a soft, nut-like toasty note, and the taste finishes clean and calming.

The tea leaves are grown with natural farming methods without pesticides. It is easy to drink and low in bitterness, so it’s perfect for everyday use. It also goes well after meals or in the evening when you want to relax.

How to
Tea: 6g
Water: 180ml
Temperature: 90°C
Time: 25 sec - 1min  (adjust to taste)

Steps

1. Warm your teapot or cup (optional but recommended).

2. Add the tea leaves.

3. Pour hot water (90°C) and steep for about 25 sec - 1min.

4. Strain and enjoy.
   Tip: If you prefer a deeper roasted note, steep a little longer.
