Our Sencha Wazuka has been grown by non-chemical, pesticide-free, natural farming method.
It has natural rich bitter taste, which most of organic green tea has. Also it has the aroma of teas being roasted. You can enjoy Sencha Wazuka with hot, cold and iced.  

Sencha Wazuka is producted by two cultivars, Okumidori & Gokou. Gokou is a type of tea cultivar from Uji, and Okumidori was originally from Shizuoka. It tends to be used for high grade of Kabusecha, Gyokuro and Matcha.

Farmer and Roaster

Our Sencha is crafted by a young farmer from Wazuka and roasted by a long-established tea roaster and wholesaler based in Kamikoma, Kyoto.


Origin: Wazuka Town 

Wazuka town is a charming small community in southern Kyoto with a population of around 5,000. It is renowned for being the birthplace of Uji green tea, which accounts for half of the green tea production in Kyoto prefecture.
The town is home to numerous tea plantations that contribute to the area's thriving tea culture.
