 Kyoto Matcha Horo 30g

A premium Uji matcha crafted in Kyoto from tea leaves cultivated without pesticides. It is smooth and refined, with bold earthy notes that settle into a clean, elegant finish.

With its vibrant green color, delicate aroma, and subtle umami, it works beautifully for traditional whisked matcha as well as modern recipes. Enjoy it as tea, or use it in desserts, ice cream, and matcha lattes.

 

 

How to:

  • Matcha: 1.5–2g

  • Cold water: ~10ml (just enough to make a smooth paste)

  • Hot water: ~60ml at 80–90°C

  • Extra hot water (optional): 0–50ml (to adjust strength)

Steps

  1. Sift the matcha into a bowl to remove clumps.

  2. Pour 80ml hot water (80–90°C).

  3. Whisk briskly (using your wrist) until the matcha is fully blended and lightly foamy.

  4. If you prefer a lighter cup, add a little more hot water to taste.
