Sencha Kamo has been grown with a non-chemical, pesticide-free, natural farming method in Kamo, Kyoto. It has natural rich bitter taste, which most of organic green tea has. Also it has the aroma of teas being roasted. You can enjoy Sencha Kamo with hot, cold and iced.
Sencha Kamo is producted by a single cultivar, Yabukita. Yabukita is the type of tea cultivar developed by the tea developer, Hikosaburo Sughiyama from Shizuoka.
Yabukita tea can adapt to and thrive in many kinds of climates or soils, producing high-quality tea. Therefore, it has become the most popular grade of tea in Japan, covering more than 75% of Japanese tea fields.

Our Kabusecha is made by the experienced tea farmer in Kamo(Kizugawa city). It's roasted by one of the long-established tea roasters/wholesalers in Kamikoma, Kyoto.
